Any idea what the bottom frame is made of? Its terribly streamlined and I'd hate to be on an undulated surface....
it's a TIG'd steel frame.
Terribly streamlined? As in badly, or very?
It's a trick dedicated frame so it's build for strength not comfort, hence the chunky stays etc.
or were you talking about the one with the tiny stays?
that's the one buddy. Its just my natural aversion to road bikes - man those forks are thin. But hey, I love the look of it.
I used to share your aversion to roadies, but once given a chance they make more sense than expected. As long as you don't go too light weight you can still beat the hell out of them jumping gaps and curbs etc, and the speed achievable makes it worth while.
