The Streets of San Fran

I was watching some of Mash the other night, and as much fun as that looked watching them bomb down the hills fixed and brakeless, Bullitt still trumps it in terms of using the streets of San Fransisco to maximum effect. No other film has shown the sheer insanity of those streets with such realism.

The Selvedge Yard has a great article about the filming of this epic sequence, it's well worth a read if you have even only have a passing interest (like me) in the film or stunt industry.
