This has to be the most stylised "No motorcycle" sign I've come across

I have always wondered what the scope for enforcing these signs is - even for universally known symbols. Surely, on occassion, a sign can in fact be misconstrued due to creative license taken by the sign's designer. On these occassions can it be proved that ignorance was not the cause of indiscretion?

Personally, I like a sign with a bit of personality.
